ST.MARTIN INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES MUNTEME-KIKUUBE HOIMA.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND .
St. Martin Institute was started in 1983 as an endeavor by Catholic vChurch Hoima Diocese to fill the rampant staff gaps in our health centers especially during those turbulent years when the health system of Uganda was in crisis.
We are accredited to the Uganda Allied Health Professionals Council and licensed by the ministry of education and sports with the mandate to train Medical Laboratory Assistants .
Since it's beginning, St.Martin has trained and produced different Health Professionals working in various Hospital's and Health centers across our country and abroad.
SCHOOL LOCATION.
St Martin institute of Health Sciences has two Campuses; The main Campus is located at our Lady of Fatima Munteme Catholic Parish which is approximately 32Kms from Hoima Municipality along Hoima Fort-portal road in Kizaranfumbi sub-county , Kikuube District-Western Uganda. The second campus is located in Kigaragara , Busisi Division Hoima Municipality .
This campus is designated to be a centre for practical training for students from the main campus during the second year and practical session at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital.
FUTURE PERSPECTIVE .
Hoima campus will be hosting Diploma in medical laboratory which will run starting with next year in May and thus registration is in progress at the main campus in Munteme.
SCHOOL VISION. Uganda in which Health facilities have got enough well trained health carders , able to provide quality health services to the sick.
SCHOOL MISSION To train and produce the knowledge , ability , commitment and spiritual motivation needed to provide health care services to the people in Uganda especially in the mid western region.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS One must have passed the following subjects at O' level ; Physics , Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Health Science and English with at least a credit or a pass.
